1. Trunk Bay, St. John
We took a cruise that stopped at St. Thomas, but wanted to check out St. John. As soon as we stepped on Trunk Bay, we were in awe of how soft the sand was. It truly felt like baby powder!
2. Monterosso, Cinque Terre, Italy
Cinque Terre, Italy is known for its villages with beautiful beaches. Monterosso has the largest beach of all the villages with great views of the village itself and surrounding mountains.
3. Jalousie Beach, St. Lucia
Nestled between the pitons, we found ourselves in a “picture perfect” setting. Choose a lounge chair to relax on and enjoy the peace and quiet.
4. Black Sand Beach, Big Island of Hawaii
This beach made our top 10 list, not because of the ocean itself, but because of the black sand and sea turtles that live on the beach. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the sea turtles on our visit!
5. Miami Beach, Florida
The ocean in Miami is the perfect temperature for those who don’t like swimming in cold water. It was refreshing, but not bone chilling! The beach was relaxing as well after a night on the town in Miami.
6. Le Meridian Private Beach, Bora Bora
If you are looking to enjoy some beach lounging on your trip to Bora Bora, look no further than the Le Meridian Bora Bora – one of the few hotels with a private beach on property.
7. Sea Pines, Hilton Head, South Carolina
This beach is calm, relaxing and located away from any commercial activity. Take a short walk from where you are staying and enjoy the beauty.
8. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
The beaches in Cabo are a perfect place to soak in some sun and relaxation – especially if you like hearing waves crashing . Don’t plan on cooling off in the water as the surf is very rough. Get out early to beat the heat of the day and then spend the rest of the day at your hotel pool.
9. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Beach, pool, shopping, dining & golfing are steps away from this beautiful beach no matter where you are staying. You are sure to find something you will enjoy!
10. Wildwood, New Jersey
The water may not be crystal blue but this is our favorite home state beach to enjoy. Be prepared for a long walk to reach the water as the beach extends several hundred feet from the boardwalk. Keep your eyes opened – you are bound to spot a couple of dolphins swimming by!
