Top 10 Beaches We Have Traveled To

1. Trunk Bay, St. John

We took a cruise that stopped at St. Thomas, but wanted to check out St. John. As soon as we stepped on Trunk Bay, we were in awe of how soft the sand was. It truly felt like baby powder!

2. Monterosso, Cinque Terre, Italy

Cinque Terre, Italy is known for its villages with beautiful beaches. Monterosso has the largest beach of all the villages with great views of the village itself and surrounding mountains.

3. Jalousie Beach, St. Lucia

Nestled between the pitons, we found ourselves in a “picture perfect” setting. Choose a lounge chair to relax on and enjoy the peace and quiet.

4. Black Sand Beach, Big Island of Hawaii

This beach made our top 10 list, not because of the ocean itself, but because of the black sand and sea turtles that live on the beach. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the sea turtles on our visit!

5. Miami Beach, Florida

The ocean in Miami is the perfect temperature for those who don’t like swimming in cold water. It was refreshing, but not bone chilling! The beach was relaxing as well after a night on the town in Miami.

The beaches in Cabo are a perfect place to soak in some sun and relaxation – especially if you like hearing waves crashing . Don’t plan on cooling off in the water as the surf is very rough. Get out early to beat the heat of the day and then spend the rest of the day at your hotel pool.

The water may not be crystal blue but this is our favorite home state beach to enjoy. Be prepared for a long walk to reach the water as the beach extends several hundred feet from the boardwalk. Keep your eyes opened – you are bound to spot a couple of dolphins swimming by!
